I do live in a really hip area of the town and I am digging it. I wouldn’t really trade apartments any time soon. Kalamaja has kind of everything close by – even my Christmas event is like rock-throw away. As I said area is cool and people are almost as cool as me. My neighbors though are a bit drink-talk-loud-party-and-fall-asleep-at-8 kind of people.

There has been however one extremely nasty thing bothering my sleep. I heard like a couple of months ago that there is some kind of noise upstairs going on..I was like ‘kay, let them do what they want. But lately I figured out what sound it was…It was mice. And as I am afraid of kind of everything small (giggle-giggle) then that sounded extremely nasty.

Sooo…one week I was away for a longer period. I guess the mice started wondering where I had went so they came to check in the apartment. I came home to a half-eaten potato. I guess they were hungry while waiting. So I hid away things I could see lying around. Then I realized – they can actually access my apartment – shit. That was not cool. So some time went by – probably they just were happy to see me back so they calmed down a bit.

Now just last week I woke up to some kind of noise coming from my apartment. Jesus Statham – I was scared. I could not sleep from that moment on. Until 7am I was still in my bed and just thinking…what if they eat me alive while I am asleep. Apparently this comes from all the tv series I’ve seen alot…So I kind of lived with it more than couple of nights until they started going through all my bags around the room. Of course looking for food.

I bought the trap just few days ago and added some nice food onto it. That shitty little device is still waiting for those bastards to take the bait. Jack shit. Next day I was so angry at them for not letting me sleep at all. I went ahead bought the poison for them. Yes, I have heard that there will be a freaky smell. I hope they go die somewhere outside. I might be cruel on that note but they should not live in my room. If they do, please do give me money for the rent, until then – off they go.

So I put the poision everywhere mostly that I knew they have access to enter. Half a day later the poison was eaten. I kinda had to live another night but I prepared headphones with some hard-ass music and slept my way through the off-putting noise.

Do you know what happened last night?
– I was sleeping without headphones – I was sleeping like a baby. It was one of the most beautiful nights I had dreamt about (no offense guys, there have been better nights too).

I told all my friends all about my magnificent night. I went to put on the light and started watching tv this morning. I kinda felt a bit icky cause something had eyes on me. I looked to the left and there was this bastard staring at me. We took a look at each other – he hopefully came to say sorry but I wouldn’t have it. I would just scream like girls do in movies but knowing my voice, it was more of a old-lady-slipped-because-the-stick-started-wobbling kind of a voice. Either way off he was through wholes I never knew existed (giggle-giggle again) and I never saw him again.

I hope to sleep peacefully today. I do.

Anyways, this was my first and last (I hope) experience with those little cute-ass creatures (NOT). I hope nobody has to go through that drama.
